John A. Oaks, age 90 of Lyons, formerly of Brookfield, U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Collins) Oaks, Loving father of John Oaks and Charles Oaks.
John was a former Village of Brookfield employee, sheet metal worker, an avid New York Yankees and Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed watching Western Movies.
Interment with Military Honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois will be announced at a later date.
