Jeannette Agnes Vereide

Jeannette Agnes Vereide, nee Lanphear, age 78 of West Chicago, formerly of Buckeye, Arizona. Beloved wife of the late John Paul Scholtes Sr. and the late D’Eric Vereide, loving mother of Donald R. Scholtes and the late John P. Scholtes Jr., cherished grandmother of John Allen Scholtes, dear sister of Teresa (Michael) Reisinger, Thomas (Margaret) Lanphear, Mary Ellen (David) Haddad, George (Patricia) Lanphear, Susan Spittler and Gerard (Cindy) Lanphear, fond aunt of 18 nieces and nephews. Jeannette taught in multiple schools for the Archdiocese of Chicago for over 35 years. She taught grades 4, 7 and 8. When teaching grades 7 and 8 she focused on Science and Math. After leaving Illinois, she taught 4th grade in Buckeye, Arizona for 10 more years.
