Georgette Brokopp

Georgette Brokopp, nee Lozano, age 65 of Brookfield. Beloved wife of John G. Brokopp and cherished mother of Jonathan G. and Joshua W. Brokopp. Georgette worked as a nurse and enjoyed spending her time crafting and tending to her garden. Georgette began her health care career as an LPN and worked her way through school after marriage to become an RN and receive her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She became CEO of Infinity Health Care Staffing in LaGrange, IL. When she left there, she devoted her life to her family and worked on the sets of local movie and TV productions as a medic/RN. Son Jonathan, 33, worked his way through school to graduate in 2024 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Administration with Magna Cum Laude honors. Son Joshua, 24, was a National Honor Society student at Riverside-Brookfield High School. He enlisted in the United States Army and served three years of active duty at Ft. Carson in Colorado Springs. He is now attending College of DuPage and is serving in the Illinois National Guard. Georgette is also survived by her husband, John, a security training instructor for TSA at Chicago Midway International Airport and freelance writer, prior to which he had a 30-year career in media relations at Chicago area thoroughbred and harness racing tracks.
